Any revision(s) will be noted by an updated revised date at the very bottom of the page. Therefore, please check this page on occasion to stay informed of any changes.

   By using the site, you agree to the following:

   1. All account information and data provided is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge.
   2. You are not permitted to use any form of automated means to access or interact with the site such as through automated scripts, scraping tools, or other software unless given prior written approval.
   3. RentNanaimo may, under its own discretion deny, remove, ban, or otherwise limit in any capacity any an account for any reason.

   These Terms of Use will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal and provincial courts presiding in British Columbia, Canada.

5. Member Conduct

   
   Members (registered or logged-in users) of RentNanaimo agree NOT to:

   1. Post any adult-related content on the site such as (but not limited to): pornography, any illegal activities, etc.
   2. Harass or threaten other members of the site or its staff.
   3. Provide fradulent or misleading information of any kind on listings.
6. Listing Content

   
   Created Listings on RentNanaimo must NOT:

   1. Be located in cities outside of Nanaimo and vicinity (Ex. Cedar, Lantzville, South Wellington are acceptable)
   2. Contain copyrighted or trademarked imagery, text, or other intellectual property not owned by the lister unless permission is given by the source owner
   3. Contain hate speech, criminal, and/or terrorist content
   4. Contain illegal content
   5. Contain pornography, overly provocative images, obscene, rude, or inappropriate content of any kind
   6. Contain piracy (Ex. torrents, Warez, etc.) or hacking-related content
   7. Contain any competition to RentNanaimo, or any site or content that would directly affect RentNanaimo in any negative way
   8. Inflammatory content, such as aggressive political or religious ads (non-aggressive, legitimate political and religious ads are allowed)
7. Miscellaneous
    
   1. RentNanaimo is not responsible for any negative effects or consequences that may arise out of its users posting content.
   2. RentNanaimo is not responsible for events beyond its control such as (but not limited to) network and/or power outages, hardware failure, and security breaches.
   3. In the event that action is required to seek legal services in order to follow up on breach of these Terms of Use, you agree to compensate any legal costs and fees.
